I Wish I Could Bear His Child...

I apologize for the lack of posting...but time and life got in the way. I'm going to lost something very honet and heartfelt now that a major change has come into my life...LOVE.

I have met an amazing man. And I love him with every fiber of my soul. He caring, protective, generous, family focused, hard-working, handsome etc. But what amazes me the most is that he's not afraid of love, nor is he afraid to love or be loved.
He doesn't disrespect me.
He laughs even when my jokes are less than funny.
And when the going has gotten tough...he's stayed.
He's taught me about the art of compromising. I mean i've been single for years so naturally it was all about me in MY world lol
Now, it's our world. And our world isn't as bad as I thought it would be.

He has a strength that I've never seen in any man. And his strength has attracted me.
On our first 'date' we went out as friends. We went to the movies and there was a part in the movie that was scary...I grabbed his hand and noticed it was calloused...I believe I fell in love with him at that very moment. Here is a man who's not afraid of hard work.
Nardo (his name) works from sunrise to sunset. He's a jack of all trades and master of none. He calls himself a black mule...but I call him my hero.

Prospering in spite of having the weight of the world on his shoulder...
To feel protected...
and loved...

To work together as one...

Strengthening family ties...
