I Wish I Could Ask God, Why????

By now, you have heard of the tragedy that has befallen entertainer, Jennifer Hudson.
In case you were living underground for the past week or so, Jennifer Hudson of "Dreamgirls" and "American Idol" fame had to identify the bodies of her mother, brother, and most recently her 7yr old nephew as they were gunned down in cold blood.
Jennifer's brother-in-law William Balfour, her older sister Julia's husband, is suspected of the killings.

I wish I could ask God, why?
Why would you allow this man to kill this family, incl a 7yr old boy?
Why is it (to me) Lord, that it seems the good people die and the bad people thrive?

What lesson are u trying to teach Jennifer, and u cudn't teach it to her another way?
How can she go on, Lord, when 3/4 of her family were killed in less than a week??

I don't know if I could ( or would) want to recover from a tragedy like that. And I don't think i could ever forgive you, Lord...because YOU HADN'T STOPPED IT. I hope u understand where I'm coming from God.

I Wish I Could Go Back In Time...

I wish I could go back in time.
If I could go back in time, I'd:

• Choke the hell out of Eve (as in Adam and Eve) for setting precedence for all of womankind. What part of 'DON'T EAT FROM THAT TREE' DID U NOT U UNDERSTAND??? Then I'd drop kick Adam...what in the hell were YOU thinking??

• I'd go to Egypt, and see what King Tut really looked like, see if Cleopatra was black/white/other, and I'd sit my butt on that hot sand and finally see how the Pyramid/Sphinx were actually built!

• Of course, I'd chill with Jesus Christ-and I'd also find out how Apostle Paul/Peter passed away.
• How did 'Superman' really die?
• Find out if we (U.S.A) really put a man on the moon

• I'd thump my mom in the head (in her 20's) until she made decisions that were best down the road, and not for immediate gratification.

• 
• MLK Jr., would've changed his lodging plans around at the last minute-so he'd be alive today to put his feet in his kids' asses!!
• Teach my younger self, holding onto anger only stops my life, no one else's.
• Choose a diff father for my daughter.
• Insist my aunt treat her body better so that she may live
• Be in Greece for the 1st Olympics!!

• Meet my forefathers who were slaves. (I'd probably last just long enuf to get their names..then I'm gone, I wouldn't make it back to 2008-i'd be killed!!)

• Hang out more on prom night -Who didn't like or wanna be like Molly Ringwald (below) in the '80's??

• I'd ______________________ Adolf Hitler, Mussolini etc

I Wish I Could Quit My Job...

I wish I could be like Johnny Paycheck and tell my manager, "Take this job and SHOVVVVVE it, I ain't workin' here no mo."

I wish she'd call my name, ride me about some 'mistake' I made and while she's sounding like Charlie Brown's teacher...unintelligible. I'd tell her to 'shut up.'
I'd tell her to shut up and now she and everyone in my office to 'listen up.'
I'd then say I'M DONE.
No more bureaucratic crap.
No more petty, ghetto, office backstabbing.
No more being unhappy that I have to come here
No more looking at you all (most of the employees, anyway)pitiful stupid faces.

I'm out.
And as far as I'm concerned YOU CAN TAKE THIS JOB AND SHOVE IT SOOOOO DEEP UP UR AZZ, You'd have to be split open just to retract the job.

I work for a Fortune 500 corporation that could give a rip about its employees, therefore it's up to us to care for ourselves. Living in MI where the employment climate is dismal doesn't afford many opportunities. However, once my son graduates from h.s. in '09, I'll be able to seek employment out of state!

But I can't wait until the day comes to fruition! lol

I Wish I Was Fearless!

Because if I were, I:

• Would not look down!
  

• would be like my sisters (black & non-black) who live on foreign land, and wear a bikini...TO HELL WITH MY SHAPE! I might go to a topless beach!
  
• I'd skydive!

• Cross a bridge
• Say 'hi' to a stranger!

• Stand on a scale!

• Tell my weight (none of your business!!)
• Confide in my friends that I get lonely sometimes, but I can't.

• I'd be more diligent towards my goal of learning to ride/buy a motorcycle! YEAHHHH!

**Will work towards my goal in Spring '09**

• Would make a huge Sunday dinner, and invite my most critical family members over to partake.

• I'd BUNGEEEEEE JUMP!

• And If I were fearless, I'd take RISKS!

To love is to risk not being loved in return.

I Wish The Presidential Election Was Over..

I'm so sick and tire of hearing Palin,McCain & Barack's name.

I Wish I Knew My Biological Father...

I LOVE MY DADDY!! My daddy adores me, always made me feel special and is not afraid to to say, 'I love you.' My daddy is special...because he knew me before I was born. He met my mother when she was already with child, and he accepted me as his 1st born.


However, I still wish I knew my biological father. From my mother's mouth, my bio father doesn't know I exist. So I'm not upset with him. I just wish I could see him, and compare notes. How are we alike? How are we different? I'm sure I have siblings. I wish there was a way I could make contact with him, as he is getting older. He is in his 70's now. My mother said he was 10yrs older than her. sigh Even my dad tried to help me locate him, to no avail.

I wish I knew my biological father.

I Wish It Was Friday...

It's Tuesday, and I'm wishing for Friday already...sigh. Let me clarify: I wish it was Friday evening at 5:02p.m...that's it.

That means I sleep in tomorrow (Saturday), I don't have to leave the comfort of my home, and if I want to marinate in my pj's all day-then so be it.

I also wish it was Friday because I have homework due tomorrow that I haven't started. And it is a royal pain in my backside.

I Wish I Could Talk To My Loved Ones Again...

I wish I could speak to:

• My grandmother.  I'd tell her I'm not mad at her for being shaped like her, and for getting those pesky whisker hairs on my chin like she had.  I'd wear a beard, if I knew I could have one more day with her.
• My aunt.  Your passing shocked everyone. You died so young (49).  It's almost 10yrs since you've left, and I wish you were here cuz the family has never been the same, esp. your kids. Your oldest grandchild is making you a great-grandmother and Ash's doing wonderful.  I told her that baby better have your name somewhere on that birth certificate!  It wasn't until u were gone that I realized you were my best friend...I'm sorry.
• My grandfather. Papa, u were such a quiet soul.  If you were here, I'd glean as much wisdom from you as I possibly could.  I'd make you laugh more, talk to me more...til the point you'd pray for death!! lol  I love you and thank you for being a great male role model for me.
• My cousin.  It took awhile for me to come to terms with your death, because not only did u die in ur 20's, but I didn't want to believe u were that sick.  U had the prettiest legs I had ever seen, and u were a male!! lol  I remember how rambunctious you were as a little and even as a young man, you had presence.  Your folks are doing well.  Your mother's strength is amazing :)

I Wish I Was in 12th grade again ...

If I could, I would do my 12th grade year in high school over, for several reasons:

• I would've told Mrs. Harrison, I did complete the required hours in Voc Ed and I would've had all A's on my final report card, instead of 4 A's and 2 F's
• I would've taken the English I failed in 11th grade (I ditched class bcuz the teacher bored me), in summer school instead of Creative Writing...wth??
• I would've prepared for College life instead of listening to Jehovah's Witnesses telling me the world would come to an end by the time I graduate high school...smh
• I'd probably be further ahead in my goals then I am now.
